Your role at BRE
We are currently seeking an energetic and organised individual to join our team as a Scheme Operations Support Coordinator. You will work closely with the Infrastructure Operations Manager and the Sustainable Products Lead, other experts, and the wider BPS teams to:
Support the day-to day operational aspects under the BREEAM Infrastructure scheme and the Sustainable Products Team, such as:
- Assessment liaison / support
- Database updates
- General and technical enquiries
- Certification
Identify and implement technical and procedural improvements to scheme governance and operational processes.
Ensure robust and credible outcomes in accordance with relevant standards by which the certification and verification schemes are developed and operate.
Support the development of digital platforms to strengthen the BREEAM Infrastructure and Sustainable Products offer in the market.
Your profile
Some skills that will be necessary for this position include:
Essential
- Understanding of operations in certification and verification schemes.
- Working knowledge of organisational management systems and their requirements.
- Interest/passion for sustainability.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organised and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
- IT literate, including familiarity with MS office etc.
Desirable
- Knowledge of BREEAM and/or the BRE business.
- Understanding of the development of certification and verification schemes
- An understanding of key standards governing certification and verification activities.
- Knowledge of construction product certification and verification schemes.
- Knowledge of ISO and CEN standards relating to product assessment.
