Your role at BRE

  • You will plan and execute the strategy to gain new business working with the central Business Development team
  • You will promote BRE and its products and services to a wide audience supporting the values and behaviours of BRE
  • Prospect for new, develop existing and successful manage and grow account performance
  • Develop and grow a healthy pipeline of activity and opportunities through (but not limited to) Bids and Tenders
  • Generate leads, develop relationships leading to new business, working with colleagues across the sales team and BRE
  • Report on all sales and commercial activity up to Board level utilising BRE’s reporting tools, including CRM and other reporting tools as requested
  • You will work closely with BRE’s Marketing team, Product Management and Customer Services teams to refine lead generation and promotional activity, and support customer satisfaction
  • Build and grow trusted working relationships both internally and externally
  • Feedback into services and schemes across BRE on customer insight and trends
  • Achieve stretching pipeline generation, sales revenue, profit contribution and conversion targets.
  • You will demonstrate and report performance against set KPI’s (including but not limited to; call volume, appointment setting, conversion rates, pipeline build, achieved v target and revenue generation.

Your profile

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience of working at a senior level, developing successful long-term sales relationships and strategic partnerships is essential.
  • Self-starter with strong team player attributes
  • Demonstrable success in consultative phone, email, Teams, and face-to-face based selling.
  • Proven ability to build a robust and profitable pipeline of business. 
  • Drive and ambition to make positive change in reducing carbon in the built environment with an appetite to drive change to build better
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools / Google shared drives
  • CRM experience (365, Salesforce etc)  

 

Desirable

  • A demonstrable understanding of selling into construction contractors / sub-contractors / suppliers, selling a manufactured product into the built environment.
  • Experience working in a sales environment as part of a targeted team to drive profitable results 
  • Knowledge of MMC
  • Knowledge of certification to a standard of compliance in construction
  • Public sector procurement knowledge
